hire the arts centre
The Arts Centre is avaliable to hire for performances, events, classes, workshops and rehearsals. The Centre can also be hired for birthday and other celebrations.
Studio 1/Drama studio
The studio is approximately 17.3 x 5.2 metres.
Technical Information: There is professional theatre lighting, PA, projector, screen,5:1 cinema sound system, flexible seating arangements. [Please contact the Centre for more details]
Studio 2 /Art studio
The workshop space is approximately 8 metres x 4.9 metres. It is equipped with seating, large work tables as well as easels for use in art classes.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped with worktop space, sinks, kettle, fridge and some crockery and cutlery and is ideal for making drinks and light snacks. It also has mirrors and acts as a backstage area/green room for performances.

Room Hire
Studio 1: £18 per hour.
Studio 2: £12 per hour.
Whole Centre: £25 per hour (or part of from get-in to securing the building).
Discounted rate for use of Centre for regular classes and rehearsals etc.
There will be an additional cleaning charge of £20 for parties where the floors need to be washed after the event.
All music gigs – whole centre hire rate will apply (£25 per hour including get in and clear up time). Event must close by 11:00pm and building must be vacated by 11:30pm at the latest. PA systems by arrangement.
Use of Staging/Seating in Studio
Whole rig: (to only be assembled/dismantled by Arts Centre staff) £100

Stage area only: (to only be assembled/dismantled by Arts Centre staff) £50
Lighting
Basic rig: £40
Complete/special rig: (inc. optional provision of own technician) POA
Bar
Only to be provided by Crediton Arts Centre, by prior agreement with the designated Premises Supervisor and bar staff. All bar profits go to the Arts Centre.
External equipment hire: (self collect/assembly and return)
Q Build Staging: First 24 hours - £90; Subsequent days - £30 per day; Hire of smaller quantities - POA
Lighting (by negotiation): from £30.
Note: Hirers are responsible for their own insurance both of the equipment and public liability while using Arts Centre equipment.
Hirer is responsible for the return of all equipment in good condition. All damages must be paid for. Crediton Arts Centre accepts no liability for injury or loss caused to third parties through the use of our equipment while on hire from the Arts Centre.
Crediton Arts Centre reserves the right to refuse requests for the use of the Centre and equipment. Prices may be varied at the Management Committee’s discretion.
