About the event
Gillian Welch and David Rawlings have risen to the heights of royalty in the Nu-country and Americana scene worldwide, whether it is through their contributions to the stunning soundtrack of the Coen Borthers film 'O Brother Where Art Thou?', or their many albums as a duo since 'Revival' in 1996. Local duos Pauper's Fortune and Etchechuria have played Welch / Rawlings songs for some years, as have cajun/bluegrass renegades The Wee Free Men. All three join forces to celebrate the immense power and beauty of these songs, with a few surprises as well as familiar sounds.
