Expressive Drawing - A Taster Session with Penny Somerville

Penny is a highly experienced fine artist, printmaker and teacher who trained at Chelsea School of Art and the University of the West of England. She has taught art in the UK, Germany and India.

This course is aimed at anyone who would just like to draw and find confidence in making a mark using a variety of materials - suitable for both beginners and artists who might feel a bit rusty and needing a bit of a boost. It will be an informal, relaxed and non-judgmental adventure into the world of drawing and finding a way into your own creativity. It is intended to be an introduction to a longer 6-week course, dates to be fixed. Materials, coffee and biscuits provided - just bring yourself and clothes that won’t mind getting messy!
