About the event
Written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe and performed by Philip Robinson. After last year's success with All Is Mended Philip returns with EVERY BRILLIANT THING, directed by Polly Whitfield. This is a powerful and laugh-out-loud funny play. “I was a 7 year old boy when my Mum tried to take her own life. So I made a list for her, of everything worth living for.” The audience are invited to help make some parts of the play, every audience is different, so every performance is specially created for that group of people. The story contains possible triggering and sensitive material. Mental health issues like depression and coping with the suicide of a loved one are part of the narrative.
